11 Months

Here he is, closing in on the big year!  Phew, not sure how many more photo shoots with the blocks I can manage.  For some reason Joey's not understanding my "don't touch THESE blocks" instruction!  At 11 months he loves pushing his Radio Flyer cart  and flipping through books, not reading them, just looking at the pictures.

10 Months!

I consider myself lucky with this pic.  Literally seconds before he grabbed at those blocks and then there was no distracting him from them.  And it's so perfect because you can see why these days we are calling Joey "2 1/2 tooth Joe".  First sighting of top teeth was at the end of August, and here we are with only 1/2 of the front left.  They are taking forever!  We thought this outfit was perfect for October! We tried my cutest knitted pumpkin hat, he didn't go for that either.

9 months!

Photo shoots are getting a little more challenging since Joey only seems to want the blocks that say 9 months!  Here's his moment of protest!  

I've been feeling this way myself the past few weeks, as always the case with a move, things haven not been the smoothest.  We have been at a standstill for weeks with securing contractor and then building permits for renovations on the new store, but as of today, things are finally moving forward!  I will update you soon with more definite move dates.    In the meantime, be sure to check out over moving sale.  We're doing it progressive style, adding a few items every few days. As best as I can I will keep my blog updated with sale items, but always the best resource of up to the minute updates is Twitter . A big thanks to Miss Morgan for keeping up Scraptasia Twitter.  I have to admit that I've been a little slow entering this lane of the information super highway, but now our Twitter is bookmarked on my BBerry and MAC, so I will following right along and adding new information too!

7 Months!

I could say this every month, I cannot believe it...at 7 months Joey's favorite mode of transportation is rolling, he loves food, and still hates to sleep!  We need a onsie that has the word sleep with the circle and line through it, no sleep for Joey! This might be a mom thing, but I created a category to the left, if you want to see Joey's months together just click and it will list them all in a row.

6 months!

Joey is 6 months old today!  Sorry the photo is a little sub-par.  This was my favorite one and it was taken with my phone.  At 6 months Joey still loves Pawlie, and also eating in his new high chair, and getting mom up a lot at night!

5 Months!

Joey is 5 months old today!  I see how our photo shoots are going to get more challenging, Joey discovered that he can move the blocks.  Hmmm, let's see, at 5 months Joey loves his exersaucer, Pawlie and smiling at people! Don't you just love those plaid pantalones!

4 months!

These monthly Joey pics are all that's keeping this blog alive!  Thanks for all of you who came out to support my return to teaching last month!  It was great to be back!  I did have intentions of posting pics of the cute Hippity Hoppity cards that we made,  o well.  Here's our guy at 4 months!  I actually took this pic on Sunday in his little Easter suit. I like the second pic because he's looking at the blocks with the same disbelief that's going through my mind "what 4 months already!"  Also, you can see the profile of the extra long hairs that stick up on the top of his head. 

At 4 months Joeys favorite things are sucking on his fingers, splish splashing in the bath and locking those knees to stand!

3 months!

zipping right on by, here's Joey @ 3 months already!  Our photo shoot this month was not quite as smooth.  He's in between sizes, so we had trouble finding the perfect outfit.  We love this little red stripped polo outfit, but we had a little spit up incident after just a few photos.  Then I love this little collared shirt, but his pantalones (a/k/a pants) were a little big, so that explains the bare legs.

At three months, Joey's favorite things...30 minute naps in his bouncey seat, looking at our stove, the remote control...love the remote control, I see the little bubble above his head that says "can't wait to get my hands on that thing!", and most of all, a full belly!  Also, according to Joey, his mom is the next American Idol...

2 months!

Joey's two months old today!  He seems to be napping a bit more these days,so there's hope for my blog yet.  I hope you have not given up on me!   

1 Month!

Hard to believe, but it's already been a month.  Stating the obvious to say that it's been a blur in the Switlyk home! 

We are starting to get some responsive smiles from Joey...
